THE COMMUNITY OF FILMMAKERS IS GROWING

A special thanks to so many people who are getting behind our film.  This begins with our prayer team of 31 people, each who have given their prayer support behind this wonderful project.  "We could not have done this without them, the support of the church, Emmanuel Baptist" and those volunteers.

Beth Lambert, Gary Lambert and Beth's brother who have launched JP KNIGHTS this month are also vital to starting the firing gun.  So many people are "behind the scenes" working hard to bring this story to a full length feature film.  We want to take this blog to share with you who some of those amazing people are!

BEN LAMBERT
For many hours Ben Lambert has worked behind the scenes to capture film footage of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the Memorial of Flight 93, leading businesses and industry in the community and special interviews for the film overview which will be posted in the coming days.  Ben recently graduated from Penn State in photo journalism and is stretching his wings as a filmmaker. 

STEPHANIE MUSSER
Vice President of GRP has been in meetings with city father's, attorneys, bankers, financial planners and more sharing the vision Beth and Gary have for this amazing project.  She is coordinating the financial participants and their individual and corporate involvement through getting the screenplay funded.  This is the first step and is vital for this film to get off the ground!

JIM GROMER & KEVIN MCAFEE
The two film screenwriters met on the Big Island of Hawaii this month while filming MY WHEREVER WORKOUT to discuss JP KNIGHTS and the next steps in working on the structure for the book being made into a movie.  The writers are very enthusiastic about creatively sharing the "culture of the community" and raise the level of this part of the country to the world.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
You can't take on this big of a project without the civil servants who are playing massive roles in working to bring a movie into town.  ALL THE RIGHT MOVES and SLAPSHOT put Pennsylvania on the map and now, it's time for a new film that is designed to be a Supernatural Thriller set in a teen's club in Johnstown.  We appreciate the opportunity to meet with the Chambers to get their support and understanding.  

CITY FATHERS
In May our GRP Team met with many City Fathers and what an amazing reception we had.  From the former mayor of Johnstown, to one of the VP's of the regional bank to leading industry giants, all were in agreement.  "This kind of film project would help tourism and boost the economy," were the overriding sentiments from the meetings.  Much promise is on the horizon as a result. 

At the end of the day, the structure of the screenplay has begun.  Stephanie plans to come back to Pennsylvania this summer to meet with leadership about the seed capital funding opportunities and further doors opening in sponsorships. This is the tip of the iceberg, so stay tuned as we get farther down the road.
