FIRST DRAFT OF OUR SCREENPLAY!

Thank you Beth, prayer warriors and all those "behind the scenes" who are never even mentioned on our journey who are interceding and undergirding this entire film. For the past few months we have been focusing a great deal on the expansion of JP KNIGHTS from a creative source preparing for our first cinematic work.

In meeting in Denver with Beth and Jim creatively to discuss all the parameters we have selected the "best" elements from the HARVESTER CHRONICLES JP KNIGHTS and are expanding this story into a trilogy.  Can you imagine the power of spiritual forces all being a part of our world in the "end times" with middle schoolers?

We are believing our team is on the precipice of having an amazing journey together but the challenge is to create a fast pace story where middle schoolers are engaged as if they were watching one of the best stories in film.  Think about this for a moment, AVENGERS END GAME created 1.2 billion dollars in the box office opening weekend!  Films with imagination at their base are the biggest box office draws anywhere.

Most films of faith are not allegories, but when we consider CHRONICLES OF NARNIA written by the great C. S. Lewis or even TOLKIEN's LORD OF THE RINGS, these imaginative stories enchant young people and bring them to a knowledge of God through a parable. It is going to be key to remember this.  These trilogy of stories are for young people.

Creatively, we will be using imagination as we transition the story of JP KNIGHTS being taken to a summer camp setting where young people are present.  Through a great deal of prayer we are going to illuminate the angelic presence far more than the demonic forces which are often the focus in stories today.  Our first draft of the screenplay is almost complete too. 

Only through the prayers of our prayer team and the weekly prayers we have are we feeling a confidence in serving the Lord with obedience.  Our commitment to keeping the angelic presence aligned with scripture is key.  Once again, without Beth's anointing none of this would have happened, so continue to remember her and her family in your prayers. 

October 21-24 Jim and I will be in Johnstown going over a first draft of the screenplay. The time it has taken to get to this step has tripled in length due to the character arcs required for not one, but three screenplays.  Please be praying for us as we come to Pennsylvania in service to this story as we will have a brief prayer meeting with prayer partners when we are there on the Sunday at Beth's church.  

In the next sixty to ninety days we will be proofing, editing and adjusting the screenplay as we go through the step by step process of analysis, sub text, character arcs and stories so keep those prayers coming.
